Mark Jordan, Pastor

Mark grew up in Cobb County, Georgia. He entered the ministry in 1997 as a Youth Director and Associate Pastor for the Wesley Chapel UMC in Marietta. He also served as the Associate Pastor for the St. Andrew UMC in Marietta before starting Coal Mountain UMC in Cumming. Mark holds a degree in Social Psychology from Georgia State University. He also holds a Masters in Divinity from the Candler School of Theology at Emory University. Mark lives in Newnan with his wife Tiffany and son Ethan.

Shannon Karafanda, Associate Pastor

Shannon graduated in May 2005 from Emory's Candler School of Theology with a Masters of Divinity. She is an Ordained Deacon in the United Methodist Church. She has previously worked as a youth minister at Brooks UMC and a youth and children's pastor at Turin UMC. She and her husband John have lived in Peachtree City for 12 years. They have two small children John and Shane.

James Holt, Worship Team Leader

James is a native of Fayette County and currently teaches science at Whitewater High School during the day.  He is a member of several different musical groups.  Not only does he lead worship at Lighthouse on Sunday mornings but he’s also part of a new group at Atlanta First UMC on Sunday nights.  James lives in Fayetteville and is recently married to Heather who is serving the military in Washington DC.

Kevin McInturff, Youth Minister

Kevin served for four years as a youth counselor at Cornerstone UMC in Newnan. He has also assisted in worship at a number of camps, retreats, and other events though drama ministry. During the day, he manages software development at PrimeRevenue in Atlanta. He earned Bachelors and Masters degrees from Georgia Tech and lives in Newnan with his wife Becky, and his three daughters Betsy, Molly, and Callie

Kathy Willix, Administrative Assistant

Kathy is a Philadelphia native. She came on staff at Lighthouse after serving at Peachtree City United Methodist Church. Kathy is involved in the Atlanta South Walk to Emmaus and provides music and devotionals to nursing homes around the area. Kathy lives in Sharpsburg with her husband George.

Mindy Martin, Nursery Director

Mindy grew up in Tampa, Florida and works for the Atlanta Journal/Constitution as a Digital Senior Account Representative.  She recently moved to Peachtree City from Henry County.  Mindy enjoys coordinating all of our childcare needs at Lighthouse as well as playing volleyball.  Pictured are Mindy with her boys Davey and Garrett and her boyfriend Kevin Zaj.
